Disable autocomplete (autofill) in Firefox

When verifying documents with thousands of fields, Firefox may experience poor performance due to the autofill feature. To resolve this issue, disable the autofill settings for addresses and credit cards in Firefox.

  1. In Firefox, type about:config in the address bar and press Enter.
  2. Select Accept the Risk and Continue.
  3. In the search box, type extensions.formautofill.addresses.enabled.
  4. Select the toggle button to change the value to false.
  5. In the search box, type extensions.formautofill.creditCards.enabled.
  6. Select the toggle button to change the value to false.

Autofill is now disabled in Firefox, which improves performance when verifying documents with many fields.
