Introduction

Since Microsoft no longer supports Dynamics AX, the Dynamics AX 2012 integration is no longer maintained or supported.

There are two methods for configuring your system for use with Dynamics AX 2012. You must configure your system using one of these methods:

  • Using the embedded target system - This is the new method of configuring the integration, where you specify settings in the target-system settings in AP Essentials Admin Center.
  • Using AP Essentials Connect - This is the old method of configuring the integration, where you use AP Essentials Connect to specify settings.
    The Dynamics AX integration requires the Application Integration Framework (AIF).
