Specifying an alert for a workflow

Email alerts are triggered by various events in a workflow. For example, whenever an invoice advances to a new step in a workflow, an email notification is sent to person responsible for that step. You can choose to send alerts instantly when the event happens, or once per day at a time you specify. If you choose to send alerts once per day, the email messages contain a summary of all the alerts that occurred for the recipient.

Specifying a workflow alert in Admin Center

To specify an alert using Admin Center:

  1. Navigate to the Workflow view and click EDIT.
  2. Click the Notifications tab and adjust the ALERTS settings to suit your needs.
  3. Click SAVE to save your settings.
