Outdated supplier settings in Analytics reports
Analytics reports, such as Verification touch rate, can temporarily display outdated supplier settings, including Bypass verification, Lock online learning, supplier name, and supplier number.
This happens when a user adds a comment to a document that is in Pending manual verification status, without making any other changes to the document. Adding a comment is treated as a document update, which causes Analytics to reload the supplier settings that were in effect when the document was originally processed, rather than the current supplier settings. As a result, the report continues to display the older values until the document is updated again.
For example, if a supplier's Bypass verification setting changes from True to False, a comment added to a document that is still pending verification for that supplier does not refresh the setting. The report continues to show True until the document is updated in another way.
This is expected behavior, and it is not limited to the Verification touch rate report. Other reports that use supplier details, such as workload reports, can be affected in the same way.
To refresh the supplier settings displayed in a report, use one of the following options:
-
Open the affected document, change or clear the assigned supplier, and save the document. Then reassign the correct supplier and save the document again.
-
Process a new document for the supplier. Processing a new document refreshes the supplier settings used in reports.
