Toggling field visibility
Sometimes when verifying documents from a particular party (supplier or customer), there are fields that you rarely use. To alleviate the repetitiveness of clearing unused fields and remove clutter from the workspace, you can choose to hide unused fields. To toggle field visibility during verification, you must have the Update online learning privilege. Also, online learning cannot be locked, and depending on which document process you use, you must have the Change field visibility per supplier privilege or the Change field visibility per customer privilege. Summarizing, you must fulfill these conditions:
-
Update online learning privilege must be granted to current user.
-
Change field visibility per supplier or Change field visibility per customer privilege must be granted to current user.
-
Online learning cannot be locked for the current supplier/customer.
Toggling field visibility is useful for hiding fields that you rarely use, however, to hide fields completely, administrators can use another procedure to specify which fields to display.
