Enabling TLS in your web browser
Transport Layer Security (TLS) is a cryptographic protocol that provides communication security over computer networks. In order to use Kofax AP Essentials and Help, your web browser must support TLS 1.2. The latest web browsers supported by Kofax AP Essentials have TLS 1.2 enabled, so if you are up-to-date, you have nothing to worry about.
To test if your browser supports TLS 1.2, follow this link: https://tlstest.readsoftonline.com/
If you navigate to the link above and your web browser supports TLS 1.2, a message is displayed that confirms that your browser is compatible. If your web browser is not compatible, your browser displays an error page.
