Configuring two-factor authentication

Install a third-party 2FA app on your mobile device. You can use any of these for example:
- Authy (Android or iOS)
- Duo Mobile (Android or iOS)
- Google Authenticator (Android or iOS)
- LastPass Authenticator (Android or iOS)
- Microsoft Authenticator (Windows Phone, Android or iOS)
Log in to Tungsten AP Essentials and click your user name in the top menu.
In the context menu that appears, click Configure two-factor authentication.
In the dialog that appears, scan the QR code using the 2FA authentication app in your mobile device.
Type the authentication token provided by the 2FA authentication app in your mobile device and click OK.

You cannot set up 2FA if the time on your mobile device is off by more than one minute.

Setup is now complete. The next time you log into Tungsten AP Essentials, you must provide your normal password and an authentication code (token) from the 2FA app on your mobile device.
