The Workflow configuration dialog

Use these settings to edit or add a workflow.

To access this dialog:

  • Select a Workflow service at the customer level, select Coding & approval and click , or select an existing workflow and click  .
  • Select a Workflow service at the customer level, select Correction and click , or select an existing workflow and click  .

Use these settings to edit or add a workflow:

Name A descriptive name for the route.
Description An optional, detailed description of the route.
Adds the selected group or user to the list. You can also select Manually selected user.
Note Group names are enclosed in brackets. They also appear in brackets during approval, so you can easily distinguish groups from individual users.
Note You cannot assign groups to correction workflows. You can only assign individual users to correction workflows.
Removes the selected user from the list.
Step Indicates the order of the step in the workflow
Assigned to Determines which user or group can perform this step.
Coding Gives the selected user permission to perform account coding.
Title A short description of the workflow step.
Approval type

Determines the approval step type.

Displays a dialog that you can use to make a step conditional.
Up/down arrows
Changes the order of the selected step in the list.
Exception handler Determines which user can handle exceptions, such as rejected invoices or invoices that have exceeded the Maximum step duration.
