The Audit trail view

This view displays details about events that occur, such as the creation and activation of accounts, users and much more.

To access this view: Select Audit trail in the administration tree view.

This view displays details about events that occur, such as the creation and activation of accounts, users and much more. Audit trail information that is more than two months old is deleted automatically.

Search Searches the Audit trail list for values that contain the text you enter in the box.
Note To search for partial words, you must use an asterisk (*) to indicate the wildcard. For example, if you search for "1234", only values that equal exactly "1234" are displayed. A value of "12345" would not be displayed. If you search for "1234*" however, values containing "12345", "123456", "1234abc" and so on, are returned.
From/To Narrows your search to the time and date range you specify.
  • date-picker Displays a date-picker.
  • time-picker Displays a time-picker.
Refresh automatically Periodically updates the list with new information.
Refresh Refreshes the list view.
Reset Resets the Search filters and the advanced search filters.
Add Expands the search settings so you can perform more specific field searches.
  • AND - Specifies that the search criteria in the next row are required.
  • OR - Specifies that the search criteria in the next row are optional.
  •   - Adds a new row to the search criteria.
  •   - Removes the search criteria row.
Warning Indicates a warning.
Info Indicates an error message.
Event time The date and time that the event occurred.
Event code A code that describes the event.
Details code Describes the event further.
User name The user that triggered the event.
Object ID A unique ID that can be used to track the event.
Message Provides more details about the event.
Tip You can double-click a row in the list to see details about the event.
