Configure NetSuite

The NetSuite integration includes a bundle that contains features that make the integration more efficient and secure. The bundle is required if you want to use token-based authentication, but is otherwise optional. The bundle contains:

  • Tungsten AP Essentials custom role - describes the access rights needed by the integration. You can limit the access needed by applying this role to the integration login.
  • Item and Vendor saved searches - makes master-data synchronization faster. You must also specify the search IDs in the target system settings.

Install the bundle

To install the Tungsten AP Essentials bundle for NetSuite:

  1. In NetSuite, navigate to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search and Install Bundles.
  2. Search for “Tungsten Automation” and select Tungsten AP Essentials Integration.
  3. Click Install and follow the NetSuite messages to accept and activate all parts of the bundle.

Update the bundle

Sometimes new features require an update to the NetSuite integration bundle. To update an existing bundle in NetSuite:

  1. In NetSuite, navigate to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search and Install Bundles.
  2. Search for “Tungsten Automation” and select the most recent Tungsten AP Essentials Integration.
  3. Click Install and click Ok to confirm.
  4. Click Update Bundle.

    After updating the bundle, make sure the saved search IDs in NetSuite match the saved search IDs in Tungsten AP Essentials. If necessary, configure saved searches with the new search IDs.
