Configure Kofax AP Essentials for use with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365

When you sign up for a Kofax AP Essentials account for Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365, you gain access to AP Essentials Admin Center, which you can use to configure Kofax AP Essentials to suit your needs. To configure Kofax AP Essentials for use with Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365:

  1. Click the login link in the Kofax AP Essentials welcome email, and login with the username and password for your Kofax AP Essentials service account.
  2. In Admin Center, follow the welcome guide, which describes additional setup steps, such as enabling Verify and creating additional users with access to invoice verification.

    We strongly recommend using Verify, so you can check invoices for correctness before they enter your Microsoft Dynamics system, as well as to improve Kofax AP Essentials performance.

  3. To enable Verify in Admin Center, navigate to the Process control settings (Account > Services ) and by set Data verification to On field error or Always and click Save.
  4. If you enabled Verify, you must create users with access to Verify by navigating to Account > Users, clicking Add and creating a user with the Role setting set to User.

    After you complete these steps, you are ready to begin processing invoices.
