The Target system configuration dialog: E-conomic settings

Use these settings to configure the E-conomic integration.

To access this dialog: Select a Services node in the administration tree-view on the partner level or customer level, select Target system, select E-conomic and click Configuration.

The settings that appear here vary, depending on the target system, version and current account level. Use these settings to specify settings for the target service:

Output image format Determines the format of the output invoices.
  • TIF - A black and white TIF image.
  • PDF - If the original PDF is color, the output PDF is also color. Original text layers are preserved. If the original PDF does not contain text layers, Tungsten AP Essentials adds text layers from the interpreted data.
  • PDF (black and white) - A black and white PDF. Original text layers are discarded and recreated using Tungsten AP Essentials's own interpretation results, however, text layers are not created if the document exceeds 100 pages.

Choose this setting for the smallest file size.

When Tungsten AP Essentials receives XML invoices, it creates invoice images that may contain color; however, the file size is still small.

  • No image - Invoice images are not sent to the target system. Only invoice data is sent.

If you change the output format, the change only applies to invoices that you upload after the change was made. Invoices that are already in the system at the time of the change are not affected.

Validate
Checks if the integration can connect to E-conomic using the Connection settings.
Connection
Use e-conomic integration version 2 Select this setting when you specify an Agreement Grant Token which uses the new app named "Tungsten AP Essentials version 2 ".
Agreement Grant Token

The Agreement Grant Token you use for token-based authentication with E-conomic.

Integration
Extended integration Determines whether you use the latest integration with new features, or if you use an older version of the integration for backwards compatibility. When selected, you use the latest integration technology with the newest features. When deselected, you use the old version of the integration for backwards compatibility. Note that the older version does not get updated with new features.
Day book name The day book  you want to use to register supplier invoices.
Default contra account The default expense-account number to use if one is not defined for the supplier. This account number is used as the default coding suggestion.
Default cost type If you use Project master data, you must specify the default cost type here.

Optionally, you can define a custom field with the type name "CostType" and use master data to populate the field with values. If you do not define a custom field, Default cost type is always used.

Payment type from supplier Determines whether payment information (supplier number, OCR, message, giro account, account number IBAN, SWIFT) is taken from E-conomic or the captured document in Tungsten AP Essentials. When selected, the payment type and related fields are taken from the supplier in E-conomic. When not selected, the payment type and related fields are taken from the captured document in Tungsten AP Essentials.
VAT Code from supplier Determines whether the VAT code is taken from E-conomic or the captured document in Tungsten AP Essentials when using general ledger coding.
  • When this setting is selected, the VAT code is taken from the supplier contra account in E-conomic and applied to the invoice during registration.

  • When this setting is not selected, the value from the InvoiceTotalVatRatePercent field on the captured document is used to look up the VAT code in E-conomic, and the code is automatically applied to the invoice during registration.

Entry text template Specifies the value of the Text field in E-conomic. You can specify placeholders (using the internal names of the fields in the document type) within brackets.
Payment message template Specifies the value of the Message field in E-conomic. You can specify placeholders (using the internal names of the fields in the document type) within brackets.
Projects
Import projects Determines whether you want to import project master data from E-conomic. This makes account coding easier by providing a list of account codes to choose from.
Cash accounts
Cash accounts list Specifies valid cash account numbers (comma separated) for use with entry-only payment types.
XML version The XML output version you use to send processed invoice data to the target system.
If you use AP Essentials Connect, and you change the Target system configuration settings, you must run the AP Essentials Connect configuration wizard again before you upload new  invoices.
