Tungsten Copilot services
Tungsten Copilot services incorporate generative AI capabilities to enhance user interaction with AP Essentials Office. This feature lets users ask natural language questions, such as "How much did we buy from this supplier last month?" or "What is the average total cost on invoices from this supplier?" Tungsten Copilot interprets the queries and returns relevant results, streamlining your verification and approval processes.
Copilot services include a user-friendly query interface in AP Essentials Office and a configuration view in the Admin Center. Users can submit queries while processing documents. Administrators enable and configure Copilot services in Admin Center, where they can manage OpenAI or Azure OpenAI credentials.

To utilize this feature, you connect AP Essentials to an external AI service account. AP Essentials does not provide an AI service at this time.
Tungsten AP Essentials does not enforce spending or usage limits on your AI service account. The customer is solely responsible for setting and adhering to any usage or spending limits.
Copilot in AP Essentials Office
With Tungsten Copilot services, AP Essentials Office users can streamline their daily tasks by asking natural language questions about the documents they process in the Copilot dialog. Copilot interprets the queries, generate responses, and presents the information directly within the interface. This allows users to quickly access insights about their work without needing to manually search through data, making document processing more efficient and informed.
To use Tungsten Copilot, AP Essentials Office users must have the Access Copilot and Access EXPLORE privileges as well as access to all buyers in the organization.
AP Essentials logs all queries in an internal system. Additionally, the AI service you use is governed by a privacy policy that you should review and consider.
Tungsten Copilot can make mistakes. Always verify important information.
How it works
You can ask Tungsten Copilot questions relating to documents you find in the All documents view in AP Essentials Office. In other words, you can ask questions about any document that has not been permanently deleted. Document data is never shared with your AI service. Instead, the AI service translates your natural-language questions into a format AP Essentials processes internally, then returns the results.
For the best experience, please ask your questions in English, as other languages are not currently supported.
Documents in Storage or Analytics are not available to Tungsten Copilot.
