Specify an alert for a workflow

Various events in a workflow trigger email alerts. For example, whenever an invoice advances to a new step in a workflow, the system sends an email notification to the person responsible for that step. You can choose to send alerts instantly when the event happens, or once per day at a time you specify. If you choose to send alerts once per day, the email messages contain a summary of all the alerts that occurred for the recipient.

Specify a workflow alert in Admin Center

To specify an alert using Admin Center:

  1. Navigate to the Workflow view and select Edit.
  2. Select the Notifications tab and adjust the ALERTS settings to suit your needs.
  3. Select Save to save your settings.
